From Cable Chaos to Clean and Documented

Years of quick fixes leave most comms cabinets a tangle of unlabelled cables, mystery boxes and kit nobody dares unplug. We strip it back, rebuild it neatly, label everything and document how your network fits together, so problems get fixed in minutes, not hours.

More Than Just Tidy

A messy cabinet isn't just untidy. When nobody can tell which cable goes where, a simple fault takes hours to trace, equipment overheats behind a wall of cables, and someone eventually unplugs the wrong thing.

Faster Fixes

Labelled, documented cabling means faults are traced in minutes, whoever is on site.

Better Airflow

Clear cabinets keep switches and servers cooler, so they last longer and fail less.

Fewer Accidents

No more guessing which plug is safe to pull, and no forgotten devices left running.

Proper Records

A clear picture of your network for audits, insurers and whoever supports it next.

How We Sort It Out

Careful planning means the disruptive part happens out of hours and your team arrives to a network that just works.

01

Survey

We visit your site, trace what's connected to what, and identify redundant kit, failing equipment and anything that's a risk. You get a clear plan and a fixed proposal.

02

Plan the Work

We agree a time for the work, usually evenings or weekends, and plan the new layout so the switch-over is quick and predictable.

03

Rebuild

We remove redundant equipment and cables, re-patch everything with correctly sized leads, add cable management and lay the cabinet out logically.

04

Label and Test

Every cable, port and device is labelled, and we test that each desk, phone, printer and access point works before we leave.

05

Document

You receive a network diagram, a patching schedule and an equipment list, so anyone supporting your network knows exactly how it fits together.

Common Questions

Will we lose our network while you work?

Some downtime is unavoidable while cables are re-patched, which is why we schedule the work out of hours. Everything is tested before we leave, so your team arrives to a working network.

Do you remove old equipment?

Yes. We identify and remove redundant switches, routers, cables and servers, and arrange for them to be recycled responsibly. Anything that held data is wiped or destroyed securely first.

Can you work on a cabinet another company installed?

Yes. Most of the cabinets we tidy were installed by someone else, often years ago. Part of our survey is working out what everything is and whether it is still needed.

Do you also install new cabling?

Yes. If you need extra data points, new access point locations or cabling for a new office layout, we can include it in the same project.

Why does documentation matter?

Without it, every fault starts with tracing cables by hand. A network diagram and patching schedule mean anyone can find and fix a problem quickly, and they are often requested by insurers and auditors.
