It didn’t seem that long ago when every single company out there had their very own IT infrastructure within their business. They would put it in place, they would manage it and they would be in charge of everything that they need to run successfully.
However, things have changed and whilst there are still companies that will work this way, there are those out there who are exploring another way to work. Largely remotely and virtual ways.
This is where Cloud computing has really taken off. The idea of the Cloud is that it gives you access to a range of IT and computing resources, without having to physically have them. Everything is stored and accessed virtually, off site and nothing needs to be in place within your business.
This approach is something that Microsoft Azure can do for you.
The idea of Azure is that it is a directory, where you can find hundreds of services that you may need to use for your business. These vary in type including databases, file storage, backups of data and also services that relate to web app and mobile apps too.
There is something for everything in the directory and it is all completely remote and virtual. You don’t need to pay out to have anything additional in your office premises. It also means that you may be able to access Cloud based services that you wouldn’t even think about using beforehand, bringing a brand new helping hand to your business.
